Chestnut Cream with Chestnut Shards

We should call it “St. Nicholas’s jam.” It brings to mind winter afternoons by the fire, with a clementine in one hand and a cup of hot chocolate in the other. Gingerbread and roasted chestnuts are not far away, freshly enjoyed on the way back from the Christmas market. This jam has so much to tell in a single bite!
